Monze Basic School is a typical state school under the aegis of the Zambia Ministry of Education. It is classified as an Upper Basic School running classes for pupils from grade 1 to 9.

We currently have 26 classes catering for 1,050 pupils provided by 30 teachers. Pupils are from age 7 through to 16. The Headteacher, Mr. Edward Chaambwa, was instrumental in developing the relationship between Monze Education Fund and his school.

The fund and its supporters are helping Monze Basic School, its pupils and PTA with much needed financial and material support to improve the conditions they have to study in and contribute towards the necessary expenses in bringing the vulnerable pupils attending the school through their schooling years.
